Esperanza Curiel Requena, 87, was born on August 5, 1931 to Merced Curiel and Sofia Ramirez and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on September 6, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family.  Esperanza was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was a strong woman of faith and a true matriarch of the family.  Esperanza loved her family and raised other children as her own.  She was a real role model and will be dearly missed by all.  Esperanza is preceded in death by parents, Merced and Sofia Curiel; her Husband, Hermilo G. Requena; and her sons, Ricardo Requena and Jose Merced Curiel.  She is survived by her sons, Jose Hermilo Requena & wife Mary Sue, Enrique Requena & wife Maria, and Arthur Requena; her dughter, Olga Murillo &  husband Antonio; her brothers, Alfredo Curiel, Armando Curiel, and Jose Luis Curiel; her sisters, Aurelia Barron and Guadalupe Dubuque; her grandchildren, Jessica, Ricardo Jr., Nicholas, Maria Olga, Rosemary, Antonio Jr., Daniel, Mark, Jaime, Jessica, Monica, Joe, Lalay, Tanya, Enrique Jr., and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, Ricardo III, Julio, Clarissa, Alan, Jacob, Xavier, Bianca, Edward, Jennifer, Paul Michael, Mark, John Paul, Daniel, Raquel, Myriah, Jose III, Weston, and Ellie.
