Evelyn Vargas, 84, was born on August 2, 1932 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Ramon, and Apolonia Vargas and entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2016 in Webster, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Evelyn leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters, Melba Ressler and Evelyn Borrero; her brothers, Giovanni Vargas, Raymond Vargas, and Eugene Vargas; her sisters, Diana Porta, Mary Vargas, Doris Pabon, and Emma Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Nestor Toro, Manuel Gamarra, Jane Whetstone, and Rose Gonzales; her great grandchildren, Blake, Jenna, Ariana, Sydney, Noah, Asia, Miah, Zinaya, Xeon, and Landon; also many relatives and friends. Evelyn will be dearly missed by all those who shared with her in life.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 9am to 12pm with a Funeral Service at 12pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
