Fidel Cornejo

1931-2019

Fidel Cornejo, 87, was born on April 28, 1931 in El Salvador and went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 24, 2019 in Houston, Texas.  Fidel was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Felicita Cornejo and his father, Luis Salmeron. Fidel is survived by his partner, Heribertha Sanchez; his sons, Hector Galvez, Herman Sanchez Cornejo, Santos Rene Cornejo, Martin Gutierrez, Jose Valentino Sanchez, Fidel Anthony Cornejo, Eric Alexander Sanchez; his daughters, Victoria Cornejo, Rosa Andrade, Maria Dominga Fernandez, Chelsea Rodriguez, Bertha Sanchez, Reyna Marisol Guillen; his sister, Angela; his numerous grandchildren as well as his numerous great grandchildren.  Fidel will be deeply missed by all who shared cherished memories with him.

Visitation: Thursday, March 28, 2019

Time: 4:00pm to 9:00pm

Vigil Service: 7:00pm

Location: Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
