Fidel Arredondo Villanueva, 81, was born on August 28, 1934 in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 1, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Fidel is survived by his wife of 63 years, Flora Arredondo; his sons, Jose Arredondo Armenta, Calixto Arredondo Armenta, J. Carmen Arredondo Armenta, and Fidel Arredondo Armenta; his daughters, Beatriz Arredondo Armenta, Alma Arredondo Armenta, Maria de Jesus Arredondo Armenta, and Dimas Arredondo Armenta; his brothers, Jesus Arredondo Villanueva and Socorro Arredondo Villanueva; his sisters, Maria Arredondo Villanueva, Consuelo Arredondo Villanueva, Marta Arredondo Villanueva, and Teresa Arredondo Villanueva; also survived by his 28 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11am at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
