Fidencio Lopez, Jr., 67, was born on September 14, 1948 in Bryan, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 25, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Fidencio was a strong man of faith. He was big Astros fan and other sports fan. Fidencio was preceded in death by his parents, Fidencio and Severa Lopez; his son Fidencio Lopez, III; and by his brothers, Joe Lopez and Daniel Lopez. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Gloria M. Lopez; his son, Eddie Lopez, Sr. & wife Maria Concepcion; his daughter, Diann Maldonado & husband Lorenzo; hi daughter in law, Ana Lopez; his brothers, Robert Lopez, Jeff Lopez, Mikel Lopez, and Ruben Lopez; his grandchildren, Rebecca Maldonado, Jessica Maldonado, Christina Lopez, Fidencio Lopez, IV, Thomas Lopez, Eddie Lopez, Jr., Ruben Velasquez, and Daniella Velasquez; his great grandson, Adrian Maloy; Fidencio also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Cremation will take place on a later day.
