Fides Managahas Valencia was born on February 2, 1960 in Manila, Philippines to her parents, Geronimo Mangahas & Dolores de Castro Mangahas. Fides entered into eternal rest on February 11, 2017 in Houston, Texas while being surrounded by her loving family. Fides was a woman of strong will, she was selfless, and she was a fighter above it all. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend that will be dearly missed by her loved ones. Fides is survived by her husband of 32 years, Tudi R. Valencia; her daughters, Khrista Valencia, Katrina Valencia, and Kristina Valencia; her sister, Annalie Ignacio; also numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 4pm to 9pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Celebration of Mass will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2pm at St. Augustine Catholic Church (5560 Laurel Creek Way, Houston, TX 77017). Cremation will take place on a later day.
