Flora P. Garcia

Flora Garcia, 75, joined our Heavenly Father on October 30, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo & Flora Portillo & husband Tony Garcia. She is survived by her son, Anthony Garcia & wife Mona; daughters, Patsy & Madeline Garcia; brother Ruperto Portillo; 4 grandchildren, Freddy, Rene, Lorene & Mandy and 4 Great-great-grandchildren, Elijah, Xavier, Dominic & Gabriella. She will be forever missed and always remembered by all.

Flora was devoted to helping everyone she knew. She loved her job of 29yrs for the City of Houston, enjoyed to salsa dance and had a special love for Harley David Motorcycles. She was everybody's angel.

A visitation with the family will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 2pm-9pm with a Rosary to be recited by Deacon Raul Navarro in the Main Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in the Main Chapel. A graveside service will take place at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered, Come to Me. With tearful eyes we watch you and saw you pass away and although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay.

A Golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove us he only takes the best.
