1928 ~ 2019

Floripa I. Olivares, 90, was born on August 26, 1928 in Tamaulipas, Mexico and went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 27, 2019 at her residence in Houston, Texas while surrounded by her loving family. Floripa was a Deacon with Elim Church and served Christ for over 40 years. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed reading The Bible,  tending to many plants, and crocheting. Floripa was preceded in death by her husband, Abelardo Olivares; son, Benjamin Olivares; grandson, Abelardo Olivares, Jr.. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Orfelinda Wheeler (Daniel), Abelardo Olivares (Linda), Idalia Garcia (Mario), Elizabeth Gonzales, Leticia Alejos, Myrna Olivares, Fernando Olivares (Elvia), Ana Ramirez (Ruben); 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; she also leaves behind many other relatives and friends. Floripa will be dearly missed by all those that were touched by her beautiful soul.
