George Glen Blaisdell, 70, was born on January 19, 1949 in Alexandria, Louisiana and entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2019 in Webster, Texas.  George proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  George was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Lovine Blaisdell and his granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Blaisdell.  He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 40 years of marriage, Margie Miller Blaisdell; his sons, G.B. Blaisdell and Justin Blaisdell; his daughter, Deborah Knighten; his step son, Michael McNutty; his step daughter, Stacy Wright; his brother, David Blaisdell; his sisters, Janie Stewart, Linda & husband Billy Edwards, and Charlene & husband Billy Nichols; his grandchildren, Morgan Mitchell, William Lee Blaisdell-Mitchell, Seth McNutty, Sydney McNutty, Sean McNutty, Silas McNutty, and Connor Blaisdell; he also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.  George will be dearly missed by all those that were touched by his love.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 9:30am The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.
