George "Dat" Perez, Jr. 1948 - 2016

George "Dat" Perez, Jr., 67, was born on September 2, 1948 in Houston, Texas and entered into eternal rest on January 26, 2016 in Humble, Texas. George was a great husband, dad and grandfather; a christian man; very kind, generous, who loved to eat. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during The Vietnam Era. "Dat" will be dearly missed by all. George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Jovita Perez; and by his brother, Marty Perez. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary G. Perez; his daughters, San Juanita Lizama & husband Miguel, Virginia Gandara & husband Johnny Martinez, and Kristina Allemand & husband Mark; his brother, Ben Perez & wife Carmen; his sisters, Dora Moreno, Arlene Perez, Vera Perez, and Nellie Flores & husband Steve; his 7 grandchildren, Marsela, Gabriella, Georgiana, Gianna, Jeremiah, Scarlett, and Elijah; also by his 3 great grandchildren, Michael, Nevaeh, and Isiah.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11am at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
