Guadalupe Cintura Gasca Sr, 94 was born January 27, 1930, in Irapuato Guanajuato, México and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on May 16, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Guadalupe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He cherished time with family and was often emotional. Guadalupe was a hardworking man with a great sense of humor and dedication to his family . He raised 10 children on one income and taught us the value of hard work, honestly, giving back and independence. His love for baseball allowed him to give back to the community, where he devoted 20 plus years volunteering to coach and organize Little league through Palamino baseball leagues. His love for the Astros and baseball will always be a fond memory. Both Guadalupe and Maria were devoted Resurrection church parishioners for many years and never missed an opportunity to support the Spring and Fall bazaars. He is preceded in death by his father Manual Gasca; his mother, Maria Cintura Gasca; his daughter Celia Gasca and his brother, Salomon Gasca and wife Lorenza Gasca. He leaves behind cherished memories for his loving wife of 70 years, María Puente Gasca; his children, Maria Bernal, Manual Gasca & wife Lupe Gasca, Teresa Reguena, Guadalupe Gasca Jr, Cecilia Gonzales, Francisco Gasca, Carmen Almendarez & husband Roland Almendarez, Maria Inez Gasca & Juan Gasca; his siblings Luz Mercado, Carmen Vasquez, Margie Garcia, Celia Martinez & Juan Gasca. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Guadalupe will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.
