Guadalupe "Lupe" Hernandez Zarate

Guadalupe "Lupe" Hernandez Zarate, 73, was born on February 8, 1944 in Houston, Texas and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on April 7, 2017 in Pasadena, Texas. Lupe is preceded in death by parents, Guadalupe Hernandez and Paula Rodriguez; and her brother Angel Hernandez. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Wahoo Paul Zarate; her daughters, Mary Ann Spencer & husband Vernon and Paula Caudillo & husband Arthur; her brothers, Charles Hernandez and Don Hernandez; her sister, Mary Jane Perez; her 7 grandchildren; and her 3 great grandchildren. Lupe will be greatly missed and remembered by all who shared wonderful memories with her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 4pm - 8pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7250 Harrisburg Blvd., Houston, Texas 77011). Rite of Committal will follow in Historic Hollywood Cemetery.
