Guadalupe Almanza Rodela 1939 ~ 2016

Guadalupe Almanza Rodela, 77, was born on June 15, 1939 in Fulshear, Texas and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 28, 2016 in Houston, Texas. A loving and caring woman who ejoyed life will be dearly missed by all those who loved her. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Pauline Almanza; her son, Oscar Rodela, Jr. (2009); and her sister, Elvira Trevino. She is survived by her sons, Nick Hernandez, Jr. & wife Lucy, Robert Hernandez & wife Connie, and Anthony Hernandez; her daughter in law, Mona Valerio; her brothers, Martin Almanza and Nieves "Pepe" Almanza; 9 grandchildren, Nicholas, Mark, Oscar III, Omar, Ashley, Rosie, Caleb, Chance, and Robert "Lil Bo"; her 4 great grandchildren, Aden, Mike, Alissa, and Xzavier; also survived by many relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 7, 2016 at 11am at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel with Brother Robert Cavazos officiating. Interment will follow in Houston Memorial Gardens (2624 Cullen Blvd., Pearland, TX 77581).
