Guillermina Barraza was born on February 10, 1954 in Houston, Texas to her loving parents, Antonio Valdez & Candelaria Garza. Guillermina was called to be with her Lord and Savior on February 22, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Guillermina is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joe Barraza; her sons, Joe Barraza, Jr. & wife Michelle, & Jesse Barraza & wife Crystal; her daughters, Anna Marie Barraza & husband Cesar, Monica Gonzales & husband Ruben, & Jessica Labastida & husband Mario; her brothers, Roy, Noe, Philip, & Henry Valdez; her sisters, Irene Samudeo & Minnie Portilla; her 19 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Guillermina will be dearly missed by all of those who shared life with her.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at the Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7250 Harrisburg Blvd. Houston, Texas 77011)Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale Ave.)
