Guillermo Macario Mendoza, 78, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was born on January 2, 1947, in Nuevo León, Mexico, and throughout his life, he was a source of strength, love, and inspiration to all who knew him.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Guillermo’s life was marked by his unwavering love for his family and his generous spirit. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, María Zoila Mendoza; his children, Guillermo Mendoza, Omar Mendoza, and Karina Mendoza; his cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Jonathan, and Sofía; and his siblings, José Luis, Enrique, Gerardo, María Guadalupe, Irma Gloria, Margarita, and Leticia.

He enjoyed family gatherings, barbecuing, jumped on any opportunity to sing along live with mariachis, taking family road trips, but most of all, loved dancing with his ever-so-loved wife. His joy for life and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Guillermo’s warmth, wisdom, and dedication to his loved ones leave a lasting legacy. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
