Gustavo Martinez Gallegos, 57, was born on March 23, 1959 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 20, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Gustavo was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; he leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother, Eva Gomez Gomez; his wife of 41 years of marriage, Angelita Gallegos; his daughters, Angelica M. Gallegos & husband Rome Mendez, Crystal L. Gallegos & husband Elmer Escobar, and Jennifer Gallegos; his brothers, Juan Martinez, Johnny Guerrero, and Ruben Guerrero; his sisters, Elizabeth Garcia, Irene Guerrero, and Gracie Guerrero; his grandchildren, Brianna Mendez, Roman Mendez, Ally Mendez, Eric Mendez, Julian Gallegos, Jada Gallegos, Joel Gallegos, Nico Gallegos, and Nathaniel Gallegos; also many other relatives and friends. Gustavo will be dearly missed by all those who shared with him in life.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Februray 22, 2017 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
