Hilda Rosa Angulo Zapata, 74, was born January 4, 1948, in Escazú, Costa Rica and was called to be with her Lord and Savior April 6, 2022, in Houston, Texas. Hilda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Her devotion to her husband and children, her steadfast determination and her sense of humor were the characteristics that made her so special. She grew up in Costa Rica and came to the U.S. in her early 20s in search of an adventure. It was in Houston where she met Guadalupe. They were soon married and began a life and family together. She is proceeded in death by her father, Abelino Angulo Flores, her mother, Melida Arias Rojas, her brother, Carlos Luis Angulo Arias, and also her daughter-in-law, Hillary Zapata. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her husband of 48 years, Guadalupe José Zapata, Jr; her son, James Zapata; her twin daughters, Michelle Le and Mindy Zapata and her son-in-law, Long Le; her sisters, Imelda Angulo Arias, Margarita Angulo Arias, Ana Isabel Angulo Arias, and Berta Eugenia Angulo Arias; and also, her grandchildren, Jackson Asher, Hudson Brooks, Harper Grace, Luke Hoai, and Summer Melody. Hilda is also survived by many other loving relatives and a host of good friends. Her grand love and light will be dearly missed by all of those who shared wonderful memories with her. Guadalupe, James, Mindy and Michelle would like to thank the many family, friends and medical personnel including Dr. Ross Brown at Memorial Hermann who helped Hilda make the most of the last 2 years.

Hilda Rosa Angulo Zapata, 74, nació el 4 de enero del 1948 en Escazú, Costa Rica y fue llamada a casa de Nuestro Señor y Salvador el 6 de abril del 2022 en Houston, Texas. Hilda era esposa, madre, abuela, hermana, y amiga muy amada. Su devoción a su marido e hijos, su firme determinación y su sentido de humor eran las características que la hacían tan especial. Ella fue criada en Costa Rica y llegó a Estados Unidos a la edad de 24 años en busca de una aventura. Fue en Houston donde se conoció con Guadalupe. Pronto se casaron y comenzaron una vida y una familia juntos. Le procede en vida su padre, Abelino Angulo Flores, su madre, Melida Arias Rojas, su hermano, Carlos Luis Angulo Arias, y también su nuera, Hillary Zapata. Le sobreviven para atesorar sus lindos recuerdos su esposo de 48 años, Guadalupe José Zapata, Jr; su hijo, James Zapata, sus hijas gemelas, Michelle Le y Mindy Zapata y su yerno, Long Le; sus hermanas, Imelda Angulo Arias, Margarita Angulo Arias, Ana Isabel Angulo Arias, y Berta Eugenia Angulo Arias; y también sus nietos, Jackson Asher, Hudson Brooks, Harper Grace, Luke Hoai, y Summer Melody. Hilda también es sobrevivida por muchos más queridos familiares y un gran número de amistades. Su gran amor y luz vivirá por siempre entre los recuerdos que sus queridos compartieron con ella. Guadalupe, James, Mindy y Michelle quieren agradecer a la familia, amigos y el personal médico incluso el señor Dr. Ross Brown de Memorial Hermann que ayudaron a Hilda a aprovechar su salud máxima entre los últimos 2 años.
