Hugo De Jesus Lozada was born on August 23, 1990 in Pasadena, Texas to his loving parents, J. Margarito Lozada Govea & Lorena Alvarado Palacios. Hugo was called to be with his Lord and Savior on January 20, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Hugo was a loving son, brother, and uncle and he will be remembered for his charismatic character and his love for dancing to salsa and bachata. Hugo graduated with the class of 2008 from Barbara Jordan High School; he attended the Texas A & M University at College Station, he later transferred to The University of Houston and he became part of Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity. Hugo is survived by his parents, J. Margarito & Lorena Lozada; his brother, Dorian Rivera and wife Adriana Hernandez; his sister, Shidume Lozada & husband Paul Connor; his nephew, Izzak Rivera; his grandmother, Hilda Palacios Tellez; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Hugo will be greatly missed by all of the friends and family he shared life with.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:30pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.Celebration of Mass will be on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 10:00am at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7250 Harrisburg Blvd.) officiated by Father Henry Walker.Cremation will take place on a later day.
