Irene Verastigue Nuncio, 75, was born on August 23, 1945 in Pasadena, Texas and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 20, 2021 in Webster, Texas.  Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Verastigue; her mother,  Irene Montoya & husband Mario Garcia; her sister, Irma Verastigue; also by her daughter in law, Rosie Nuncio.  Irene leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her loving husband of 60 years of marriage, Pete Nuncio; her sons, David Nuncio and Fredrick Nuncio; her daughter, Leticia Pena & husband Cristobal; her grandchildren, David Erick Cantu & wife Mindy and Mathew Cantu; her great grandchild, Kailani Anaya Cantu; she also leaves behind many other relatives and numerous friends.  Irene will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by her beautiful soul.
