Irma "Mima" C. Bernal 1946 - 2015 Irma "Mima" C. Bernal, 69, was born on August 21, 1946 in Laredo, Texas & was called home to be with her "Lord & Savior" on Saturday, August 29, 2015 while surrounded by her loving family. Mima was a loving wife, loving mother, & grandmother. She was a strong, compassionate, caring, selfless, courageous woman. "It is not good bye, it is see you later." Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Jose Luis "Joe" Bernal; Daughter, Elisa Nerie & husband Joseph R.; Sons, Jose Luis Bernal, Jr. & wife Jovita & Jorge Bernal & wife Lina; her Twin Sister, Norma Guadalupe Gonzalez & Sister, Elvira Cruz; Grandhildren, Stephanie, Jiselle, Joseph Jr., Noah, Victoria, Daniel, Michael, Jonathan, Steven, Jenevie, Jasmin, Matthew, Mitchell, & Rembrandt; & 1 Great Grandson, Adrian Isaiah. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service @ 7pm @ The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 @ 11:30am @ The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel with Pastor Joseph R. Nerie officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.   "NO MORE PAIN" "Mima" For as long as I can remember... You were always by my side, To give me support, confidence and help. For as long as I can remember... You were always the person I looked up to, So strong, so sensitive, so pretty. For as long as I can remember... You always provided stability within our family, Full of laughter, full of tears, full of love. For as long as I can remember... And still today. You are everything a mother should be. Whatever I have become is because of you... ... and i thank you forever for our relationship.
