Isaia Capelo

Isaia Capelo, 23, was born on May 11, 2001, in Houston, Texas, and entered eternal rest on September 21, 2024, in his Houston, Texas. A devoted son, grandson, brother, and uncle, Isaia’s warmth and spirit touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his father, Ruben Capelo and Jackie Garcia; his mother, Mia Diaz Compean and her husband, Jerry Compean. Isaia is also cherished by his paternal grandparents, John Capelo and wife Alice, and Yolanda Martinez, as well as his maternal grandmother, Emily Lopez. His siblings—brother Daniel Capelo and wife Valeria Arellano; sisters Porscha Capelo, Mercedez Capelo, and Amber Savarino and husband Sam—along with numerous nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends, will forever hold his memory close.

Isaia’s legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
