Israel C. Hernandez, 72, was born on April 9, 1948 in Ojinagua, Chihuahua, Mexico and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on July 21, 2020 in Houston, Texas.  Israel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel Hernandez and Juanita Carrasco; his brother, Jaime Hernandez; and his son in law, Jaime Alejandro.  Israel leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 49 years, Rosa M. Hernandez; his children, Eunice Ponce & husband Jose, Eli Hernandez, Priscilla Pena & husband Omar, and Elizabeth Alejandro; his siblings, Eduardo Hernandez, Esperanza Quinones, Gloria Carabillas, Yolanda Mowrey, Ana Rodriguez, Isai Hernandez, Ruth Pollard, and Jose Hernandez; his grandchildren, Jose Daniel Ponce & wife Nicole, Joel Adrian Ponce & wife Norma, Mia Alicia Jaimes & husband Alex, Jacob Rosendo Alejandro, Issak Pena, Xavier Pena, Eli Mayan Hernandez, and Zoey Nicole Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Andrew Rivas and Zara Jaimes; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.  Israel will be dearly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.
