James Dwight Snyder was born June 5, 1950 and went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2021 at the age of 71.  Jimmy, as he was known to most, was the life of his neighborhood, loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed by so many in the community.  He attended Charles H. Milby High School, Lee College and honorably served in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Voltaire George Snyder and Bernice Magdeline Hurtig, sister Joyce Elaine Griffith and son Kevin Dwight Synder, stepson James Brian Allen and nephew Brian Jenkins.  Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife Diane Connie Synder, sister-in-law Lorraine D. McColley, brothers-in-law, Richard (Lizzette) De La Rosa, Angelo De La Rosa, and John (Hailey) De La Rosa, his grandchildren Zachary and Hailey Snyder, his nieces and nephews Tommy Jenkins, Liza (Albert) Alonzo, Toni (Miguel) Portillo, Bianca, Vincent, Christian, Harrison and Pierce De La Rosa and great nephews Liam and Luke, Maverick and Anthony.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 15 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Funeral Service being held at 7:00pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel.
