Janie Calvillo, 61, leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 43 years, Luis Rey Calvillo; son, Luis Rey Calvillo Jr. & his wife Denise; daughters, Vicenta Elliott & husband Lance, Rebecca McMahon & husband Michael; brothers, Ralph Flores, Raymond Flores & Thomas Sanchez; sister, Isabel Salas & 6 wonderful grandchildren; Noah & Sarah Elliott, Angelina Calvillo, John, Sophia & Michael McMahon Jr.

A visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 3pm-9pm with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 7pm in the Family Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:30am at Church of The Harvest located at 7505 Wilson Dr. in Manvel, TX. Officiated by Pastor LaCricia Hlavinka of Reigning Glory Church. Interment will follow to Houston National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.

I gave you my love, you can only guess How much you gave me in happiness I thank you for the love each have shown But now it is time I travelled on alone

So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must Then let your grief be comforted by trust It is only for a while that we must part So bless the memories in your heart

I will not be far away, for life goes on So if you need me, call and I will come Though you cannot see or touch me,

I will be near and if you listen with your heart, you will hear. All of my love around you soft and clear.

Then, when you must come this way alone “I will greet you with a smile and say, “Welcome Home”
