Janie Rodriguez, 72, was born November 24, 1950 in Houston, Texas and was called up to be with her Lord & Savior on February 20, 2023 in Houston, Texas. Janie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe & Ramona Garcia; her loving husband Richard Rodriguez; her daughter Rosemary Arredondo; her son Rodney Arredondo; and her siblings Mary Esparza, Guadalupe Garcia Jr., Rogelio Garcia, David Garcia, Manuela Cerda, Santiago Garcia. Janie leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her children, Rosemary Mendoza, Ricky Arredondo (Frances), Veronica Trevino (Debbie), Richard R Rodriguez (Delores), Lee R Rodriguez, Robert R Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Jennifer Valencia, Lisa Mendoza, Jesus Domingo Mendoza, Jessica Longoria, Corrina Romero, Rodney Arredondo, JR, Angel Arredondo, Genevive Arredondo, Iris Saucedo, Isaiah Trevino, Illayana Trevino, Richard L Rodriguez, Amanda Rodriguez, Johnny Rodriguez, Robert Rene Rodriguez, Roland Ray Rodriguez, Jesus (Jessie) Rodriguez, Julie Calvo; her great-grandchildren, Evelyn Andrade, Anthony Valencia, Adam Valencia, Kaylyn Arroyo, Jasmine Mendoza, Aryana Mendoza, Jd Mendoza, Jonathan Longoria, Giuliana Longoria, Jazzlyn Longoria, Juvenile Romero, Issabella Romero, Rodney Arredondo III, Adalina Saucedo, Miranda Rodriguez, Milayna Rodriguez, Ezra Rodriguez, Romeo Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Jayden Rodriguez ,Kayla Calvo, Abigail Calvo; her sisters, Cecilia Mendoza, Jessica Montez. She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends.

Janie will be dearly missed by all.
