Jesse Roberto Oropeza, 92, was born on April 17, 1926 in Galveston, Texas to Atanazio Oropeza and Juana Salas Oropeza and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 21, 2018.  He was a man of faith; a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend;  the best of the best ever.  Jesse proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the World War II Era.  He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind to cherish his memories his sons, Jesse Robert Oropeza & Sharon Ann Gomez and Steven Oropeza & wife Brenda; his brother, Nick Oropeza; his sister, Rosie Quiroga; his grandchildren, Christopher Canales & wife Renae, Vanessa Garza & husband Sean, Destiny Oropeza, Aliya Oropeza, and Liliana Oropeza; his great grandchildren, Valerie Yvonne Loya, Jessica Ashley Oropeza, Ashleigh Diane Canales, Austin Michael Canales, Mikaela Nicole Canales, and Joshua Logan Canales; his great great grandchildren, Eric Alexander Rodriguez, Dominic Alejandro Sanchez, and Chris Dwayne Dowdy.  Jesse will be dearly missed by all those who he touched.
