Joe "Pepe" E. Ramos 1929 - 2016

Joe "Pepe" E. Ramos, 86, was born on January 31, 1929 in Waelder, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 2, 2016 in Conroe, Texas. Pepe was a loving husband, father, grandfater, and great grandfather; he graduated from Milby High School in 1948. A very talented musician and an avid sports fan. He will be greatly missed by all his loved ones. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Mary Ramos, also by his loving wife of 50 years, Evangeline "Vangie" Lugo Ramos, and his daughter, Victoria Ramos. Survivors include his sons, Joe A. Ramos & wife Teresa and Nick Ramos & wife Dody; daughters, Brenda Vara & husband Robert, Norma Magdaleno & husband Randy, Rebecca Oballe & husband Rudy, and Angela Marshall & husband Corbett; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. A family gathering will take place on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 9:30am to 10am. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
