Joel D. Muñoz, 68, was born on March 6, 1951 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 23, 2019 in Houston, Texas. Joel was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Mariano Muñoz; also by his wife, Evila M. Muñoz. Joel leaves behind to treasure his memories his mother, Juana Dominguez; his son, Joel Muñoz, Jr. & wife Allison; his daughter, Martha E. Muñoz & husband Jesse Porras; his sisters, Socorro Sanchez and Maria Guadalupe Muñoz; his grandchildren, Juan, Andrea, Alexander, and Jazmin; he also leaves behind many other relatives and friends. Joel will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.

Visitation: Saturday, April 27, 2019 Time: 3:00pm to 9:00pm Prayer Service: 6:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later day.
