John's career was with The Houston Museum of Natural Science where he worked for over 20 years. He was well known for his wood working skills, especially at his Church where he built confessionary stands and volunteered at the annual bazars. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. John leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his parents, Guadalupe & Esther Vasquez; his loving wife, Maricela Vasquez; his children, Mia Esperanza Vasquez, John Paul Vasquez, and Ruby Esther Vasquez; his brothers, Maurice Vasquez & wife Leticia, Agustin Vasquez, and Robert Vasquez; his sister, Angelica Vasquez; his niece, Madeleine Rodriguez; he also leaves behind many other relatives and a host of friends. John will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.
