Jorge C. Flores

Jorge Flores was born in Brownsville Texas to parents Reynaldo Guerrero and Maria De La Luz Cardenas on March 23, 1930. Jorge entered through the Heavenly gates the evening of May 11, 2014. He was 84 years old.

Jorge had a huge loving and giving heart for everyone. He liked to read and loved to go fishing, but what we will mostly miss is his singing and dancing. He sang and danced everywhere! Jorge has also been a devoted life long parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. We will cherish all our memories we shared and one day we will all be reunited and together again.

Jorge is survived by his 3 sons, Reynaldo "Ray Flores, Guadalupe Flores and Samuel Flores; 2 daughters, Maria Flores and Angelita Cano; 1 sister, Maria Elena Garcia; 48 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 3pm-9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm in the Compean Family Chapel. A funeral mass officiated by Father Ramiro Cortez will begin at 11am on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (7539 Ave. K, Houston, Texas 77012) Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
