Jorge Elias Rodriguez, Sr. 1960 - 2016

Jorge Elias Rodriguez, Sr., 55, was born on March 9, 1960 in Doctor Gonzalez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, after a long struggle with cancer, on January 27, 2016 in Houston, Texas while surrounded by his loving family. Jorge's passion was his work and his family. He loved to help people and was a man of strong faith; a counselor and a friend to everyone. He was his son's, Jorge Elias Rodriguez, Jr., "Superman". He will be dearly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his Father, Elias Rodriguez (July 6, 2013). Jorge is survived by his mother, Maria Gloria Rodriguez; his sons, Jorge Elias Rodriguez, Jr. and Ernesto Elias Rodriguez; his daughters, Sandra Rodriguez and Esmeralda Bolfing & husband Brian; his brother, Fernando Rodriguez; his sisters, Alma Rodriguez, Mirthala Cardenas, and Bertha Guevara; also by his 5 grandchildren, Audrie, Zoe, Michael, Maya, and Sebastian.

The family would like to exppress their gratitute to Hallmark Hospice and Staff, specially to nurses: Janie, Donna and Shady.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 6pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (7539 Avenue K, Houston, TX 77012). Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
