Jose Benjamin Chapa

1933 - 2017

Jose Benjamin Chapa was born on March 21, 1933 in Mexico, to his parents, Roman Chapa & Casiana Villarreal. Jose was called home with his Lord and Savior on the morning of September 1, 2017 while being surrounded by his loving family. Jose is survived by his wife, Manuela Franco de Chapa; his sons, Benjamin Chapa & wife Vilma, & Jose Roel Chapa & wife Diana; his daughters, Silvia Rodriguez & husband Hervey, & Sonia Chapa; his grandchildren, Chris Rodriguez, Chantal Rodriguez, Roxana Chapa, Estefan Rodriguez, Johnathan Chapa, Prescilla Castaneda, Sebastian Castaneda, Dexter Chapa, Magali Chapa, Klarissa Rodriguez, & Fabian Chapa; and his great grandchildren, Valentina Rodriguez, Victoria L. Rodriguez, and Ava Rodriguez. Jose will be dearly missed by all those who shared with him in life.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 10am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.

Cremation will take place on a later date.
