Jose Luis Cuellar 1948 - 2015

Jose Luis Cuellar, 67, was born on February 15, 1948 in Linn, Texas and went home to be with his "Lord and Savior" on March 21, 2015 in Webster, Texas. Mr. Cuellar is preceded in death by his Brother, Ernesto Cuellar (2002), and his Father In Law, Wilburn Snyder in 2008. Survived by his Parents, Clemente and Josefina Cuellar; wife of 10 years, Theda Gayle Cuellar; Foreign Exchange Daughter, Edurne Gonzalez; Brothers, Dr. Marcelino and Roberto Cuellar; Brother In Law, Kyle Snyder; Sisters, Atanacia Farmer, Maria Adelaida Morales, and Josefina Schmidt; Nieces, Diana, Veronica, Erika, Elisa, and Jessica; Nephews, Romeo, Bobby, Javier, and Kris. Mr. Cuellar retired from The U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service by Deacon Johnny Salinas at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Second visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg, Texas. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg, Texas. Rite of Committal will follow in Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery.
