Jose "Joe" Felix Flores, 79, was born on February 16, 1937 in Houston, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 6, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Joe was a loving husband and father; he was a great provider. Joe was a Proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Southern Pacific/ Union Pacific after 42 years. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lillie G. Flores; his daughters, Cathy Ann Flores, Gloria Flores Villanueva, and Monica Montes; his sisters, Angie Schnur and Elva Castillo; his grandchildnre, Blake, Nick, and Alexdria; his great granddaughter, Ava Josephine; his best friend, Pee Wee; he is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Joe will be dearly missed by all those who love him.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 8, from 4pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Entombment will take place on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10am at Abbey Mausoleum in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
