Jose Juan Gutierrez

1931 - 2018

Jose Juan Gutierrez was born on May 22, 1931 in Doctor Gonzalez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to his parents, Jose Juan Gutierrez and Amalia Gutierrez. Jose was called Home with his Lord and Savior on January 4, 2018 in Houston, Texas while being surrounded by all of his loving family. Jose Juan is survived by his loving wife, Candelaria Gutierrez, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage; his son, Juan Antonio Gutierrez; his daughters, Maria Rosa Lozano & husband Rodolfo, Maria Angelica Kelley, Ana Sylvia Rodriguez & husband Bartolo Jr., and Belinda Hernandez & husband Hilario Jr.; his brothers, Reymundo Gutierrez and Salome Gutierrez; his sisters, Josefina Montemayor, Francisca Martinez, Maria Elena Gutierrez, and Amalia Antonia Garza; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many more relatives. Jose will be dearly missed by all of those who shared with him in life.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm with a Rosary being recited at 6pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.
