Jose de los Remedios Loera Hernandez, 68, was born on September 1, 1947 in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 1, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Jose is survived by his brothers, Martiniano Loera Hernandez and Santana Loera Hernandez; sisters, Cecilia Loera Hernandez, Josefina Loera Hernandez, Roberta Loera Hernandez, and Maria Loera Hernandez; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 3pm to 8pm with a Mass being celebrated at 6pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Rite of Committal will take place on a later day in Panteon Hidalgo in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
