Jose Eduardo Poveda Castro 1933 – 2015

Jose Eduardo Poveda-Castro, 81, was born on July 04, 1933 in San Jose, Costa Rica and was called home to our Lord on Monday, April 27, 2015. Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Manuel Poveda Gomez and Maria Castro Barquero. He is survived by his Sisters, Cecilia Vindas and Margarita Mesen; his Wife, Nora Poveda; his four Sons, Miguel E. Poveda & wife Patricia Briones, George Morillo & wife Griselda Morillo, Manuel E. Poveda & wife Taya Poveda), and Jose E. Poveda Jr.; by his two Daughters, Anahaiy Poveda-Ramirez and Yovana Castillo & husband Claudio Castillo; also by 17 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Jose Eduardo was an amazing Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, who loved telling us childhood memories. We have peace in our hearts knowing that he lived a wonderful long life and that he too is in peace with our “Papa Dios” watching over all of us. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Until we see you again!

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 12:00pm at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church located at 10135 West Rd Houston, TX 77064. ~PURA VIDA~
