Jose, Pepe, or Tio Vale as he was loving known, touched many lives in his 82 years on this earth. His contagious smile left an impression on innumerable hearts. A hard worker from a young age, Jose always did his utmost to provide for his family with an unwavering spirit. He retired from HL&P after 25 years and alongside his wife, Maria, dedicated himself to making their "world-famous" Soto Tamales. He was a long-time member of the Church of the Redeemer in Houston's East End where he loved to serve the Lord and his community. Jose will be remembered as a playful, charismatic and caring human being. Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Estefana Soto; his wife, Maria de Jesus Montes de Soto; and his son in law, Jesse Williams. Jose leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 5 years, Esthela Sepulveda; his daughters, Diana Soto Williams, Leticia Soto Coronado & husband Daniel, and A. Ivonne Soto; his grandchildren, Stephanie Soto and Tristan Coronado; and many other relatives and friends. Jose will be dearly missed by all who were touched by his loving soul.
