Josefina Alcocer Avila, 80, was born on April 19, 1937 in San Pedro, Coahuila, Mexico to Guadalupe Alcocer and Julieta Montalvo and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2017 in Pearland, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Jose Avila, Javier Avila, Enrique Avila, and Victor Avila.  Josefina leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Felipe Avila, Francisco Avila, Sergio Avila, and Hector Avila; her daughters, Juana Avila, Dolores Avila, Ana Isabel Avila, Martha Patricia Avila, Laura Avila, and Julieta Avila; he sisters, Guadalupe Alcocer and Juana Ibarra; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Josefina will be dearly missed by all those who shared with her in life.
