Joseph O. Garcia

Joseph Ortega Garcia was born on December 27, 1932 in Gonzales, Texas to his loving parents, Nasario Garcia & Consuelo Ortega. Joseph was called home with his Lord & Savior on May 3, 2017 in Houston, Texas while being surrounded by his loving family. Joseph is survived by his sons; Joseph Garcia, Jr., Robert Garcia & Nasario Garcia; his daughters, Mary Ann Balerio & Christina Garcia; his siblings, Rudy, Roger, Mary, Rachel, Lupe & Gloria; his grandchildren, Joel, Vanessa, Alexis, Crystal, Adam, Robert, Jr., Lithi, Ricky, Jasmine, Mia, Myles, Henry, & Destinee; and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Faith, Levi, Annabella, Henry IV, Jeremiah & Genesis. Joseph will be dearly missed by all of those who shared with him in life.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10am at The Co- Cathedral of the Sacred Heart (1111 St. Joseph Parkway., Houston, Texas 77002)Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery will full Military Honors.
