Juan Manuel Ortega, 67, was born on June 3, 1953 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on August 8, 2020 in Denton, Texas.  Juan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrocio Ortega and Trinidad Corpus; his son, Mike Garcia; his grandsons, Luis Gage Garcia and John Green; his brother, Leonard Ramirez; and his sister, Guadalupe Ortega.  Juan leaves behind to cherish his memories; his wife of 37 years, Julie Ann Ortega; his son, Juan Manuel Ortega, Jr. & wife Gloria; his daughters, Angela Martinez & husband Jose, Rosalinda Garcia & husband Junior, Janie Uregas & husband Sunny, and Nelly Flores & husband Steve; his brothers, Rolando Ortega, Jose Ambrocio Ortega, and Marcos Antonio Ortega; his 24 grandchildren; his numerous great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.  Juan will be greatly missed by all who were touched by his loving soul.

Time: 3:00pm - 7:00pm

Rosary: 5:00pm

Location: Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
