1964 - 2017

Juan Jose Padilla, 53, was born on June 24, 1964 in Tamaulipas, Mexico and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on July 31, 2017 in Houston, Texas surrounded by his loving family.  He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Leon Padilla and his daughter, Luz de Maria Padilla.  Jose is survived by his mother, Elida Padilla Guzman; his loving wife of 27 years, Juana Patricia Padilla; his sons, Eloy Josue Padilla & wife Ana Arredondo, and Ely de Jesus Padilla; his daughter, Patricia de Jesus Phillips & husband Andrew David; his brothers, Eduardo Padilla, Ruben Padilla, and Gabriel Padilla; his sisters, Elvira Zamora, and Ana Aguilar; and his grandchildren, Robert Isaac, Matthew Raphael, Ellie Marie, and Elianna Frances.  Jose was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 5pm - 9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm at the Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 1pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2405 Navigation Blvd., Houston, Texas 77003).  Rite of Committal will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
