Juan Ornelas Torres

1927 - 2017

Juan Ornelas Torres was born on September 3, 1927 in Mexico to his parents, Graciano Ornelas & Maria Ascension Torres. Juan was called Home with his Lord and Savior on December 12, 2017 in Jersey Village, Texas while being surrounded by his loving wife and family. Juan is preceded in death by two of his children, Asuncion Ornelas & Andrew Ornelas. He is survvied by his loving wife, Enriqueta Ornelas, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage; his sons, Juan, Daniel, Ricky, Ruben, and Memo Ornelas; his daughters, Linda Peña, Ascension Ornelas, Dolores Ramirez, Ruby Benavides, and Stephanie Salcedo; his sister, Lola Ornelas; and multiple grandchildren as well as great grandchildren. Juan was a loving and hard working man who will be missed by all of those who shared with him in life.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 3pm to 9pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10am at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (7539 Avenue K., Houston, Texas 77012)

Rite of Committal will follow immediately after Funeral Mass in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
