Julia C. Medina

Julia C. Medina, 76, was born on June 6, 1937 to Jose & Guadalupe Canales in Tynan, Texas, raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Julia was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She was our leader our protector, and will always hold a special place in every heart that she touched. Julia is survived by her seven children, Damacio & Sarah Ayala, David & Dorthy Ayala, Ricardo & Dalia Montes De Oca, Delma Martinez, Jesus & Yolanda Ayala, San Juanita Medina and Oscar & Rebecca Medina; twenty grandchildren; Laurie, Vasnea, Sara Ayala, Adriana Vega, Francisco & Maria Mendez, Esteban & Dalia Maya, Julio N. Martinez, Scott & Julie Tannehill, Gerardo & Cassy Hernandez, Ricardo Montes De Oca, Jesus & Daniela Ayala, Alejandra, Liza Ayala, Guillermo, Ulises Abad, Carlos, Juan, Miguel Hernandez and Briana, Bianca Medina; 13 great-grandchildren, Marcus, Jacob Perez, Ariana Ramirez, Mario Ayala-Rodriguez, Antonio Renteria, Yazmine Moreno, Jaime, Adrian, Adriana Maya, Claire, Shawana Tannehill and Angelo, Samuel Ayala and many other family members and friends. She will be forever loved and will always be in our hearts until we meet again.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 4pm-9pm with a Rosary to be recited by Deacon Juan De Dios at 7:30pm in the Family Chapel. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 12 noon at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery where Julia will be laid to rest.
