Keyun Lakenndrick Jawoski Southall Jr. (KJ), 16, was born on March 28, 2008, in Houston, Texas. He entered eternal rest on January 31, 2025, in his hometown. KJ was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He was known for his dramatic flair, his impeccable sense of style, and his boundless love for those around him. A true hustler, KJ had a deep passion for music and an unwavering drive for success.

He was preceded in death by his great-aunt, Meme; his great-uncle, Earnest Wilson; his uncle, Bobby Johnson; his cousins, "Skippy" and Kendall; and his friends, Izzy, Sergio, Alfredo, and Josaiha.

KJ leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his father, Keyun Lakenndrick Jawoski Southall; his daddy Lee Edward Smith; his mother, Monique Lasha Wilson; his siblings, Keylan Southall, Mar'lee Wilson, Naila Mills, and Kenya Southall; and his grandparents, Michelle Southall and Dorthy Wynn and Albert Wynn. He is also survived by his great-grandmothers, Louis Williams, Gertrude Wilson, and Shirley Burette; his great-aunts, Eugina, Nurley, Betty, Ruby, Will, Toni, and Elmer; and his aunts and uncles, Leon, Leonard, Big Nene, Keda, Bianca, Melanie, Jocelyn, Briyona, Ashley, and Mika.

In addition to his immediate family, KJ leaves behind a vast network of relatives and countless friends who were lucky to know him and will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

KJ will be deeply missed by all who were touched by his presence, and his spirit will live on through the cherished memories he leaves behind.
