LETICIA (Nina) GLORIA, 69, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 10, 2021. Leticia was born on July 22, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to Jovita Rodriguez and Marcos Muñoz. She devoted her life to her husband, her 5 children, and 12 grandchildren. Those who knew and loved her were blessed by her kind spirit and gentle soul. The brightest light in our orbit has been extinguished, and we are left to follow her path leaning on each other with God in our heart mind & soul. She is preceded in death by both her parents. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Paul Gloria; her children Christopher (Angie), Christina (Richard le Deit), James, Miguel, Katherine; and honorary daughter Patricia; grandchildren Brittany, Chris, Nicolas, Nathanial, Ava, Richard Paul, Anthony, Makayla, Amadeus, Mandy, Matthias and Phoenix; brother Bob Muñoz, beloved sisters Lydia Coleman, Libby Jagger, Margaret Garza, Terry Morales and Mary Philips; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and relatives.
She was a Member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court Mother of Charity #1713, Knights of Columbus Bishop Byrne Council 3077 Ladies group, and also Friends of Our Lady of Guadalupe Member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Houston. Leticia was active in her church as a Sunday School teacher, Marriage Catechist, Altar Society and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion; also active in the Austin High School Marching band Ladies support group. She graduated in 1971 from San Jacinto High School. Leticia dedicated 10 years as a sales employee of Sears & Roebuck department store located at Wayside & Harrisburg; and she retired from the Children’s Learning Institute at UTHealth as an Administrative Assistant.
