Linda Medina Burt, 76, was born on July 4, 1948, and entered eternal rest on April 5, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Linda was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a joyful spirit whose love for her family knew no bounds.

She was a woman of strong faith, fierce love, and unwavering dedication to those she cared for. Linda adored her grandbabies—who affectionately called her “G-Maw”—and found pure joy in cheering them on from the sidelines. She had a deep love for her husband, beautiful flowers, the Houston Astros, and making everyone around her feel loved and happy.

Born on the Fourth of July, Linda was truly a firecracker—full of life, warmth, and sparkle. Her presence lit up every room, and her laughter left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Johnny Dale Burt; her daughters, Cherry Lynn Reither and husband Tim, Dana Darlene Hernandez and husband Grasiano Jr., and Samantha Renee Leauvano and husband Louis; her brother, Richard Medina; her grandchildren, Frankie, Andrea, Michael, Gabriella, Dominique, Christian, Miranda, Natalie, Micah, Tevin, Viviana, and Margues; her great-grandchildren, Gavin, Madison, Greyson, Andy, Elijah, Gianni, Michael, Anthony, Joliana, and Jaslyn; and her beloved grand-pup, Natalie.

Linda’s memory will forever be treasured by her family and all who were fortunate enough to create beautiful memories with her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
