Lucille Garibay

Lucille Susie (Hernandez) Garibay went to be with our Lord on June 18, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and godmother. Born March 30, 1954, in Dallas, she is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jose A. Garibay; sons Jacob D. Garibay & wife Monica and Jonathan C. Garibay. She is also survived by grandsons Elliott and Edward and granddaughters Emma and Emily. She is also survived by her father, Francisco Zuno; sisters Ruby Gonzales, Priscilla Borden, Gilma Aguirre (Carlos), Cynthia Johnson; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by parents Leo Hernandez and Tommie (Arriaga) Zuno and a brother, Joseph Anthony Gonzales. The family would like to give appreciation to the nursing staff and employees of Kindred Hospital the Heights on West 26th Street.

Services will be held on Friday, June 23, from 5pm to 9pm with a Mass being celebrated at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home.
