Ludivina Canales-Ortega

Ludivina Canales-Ortega, 95, was born August 27, 1927 in Alice, Texas and entered eternal rest on November 2, 2022 in Houston, Texas. She was an amazing daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  Ludivina always greeted everyone with love and comfort, very motherly to everyone and welcoming at any hour. She worked the fields picking cotton when she was younger and cared for her parents until the end. Out of everything she enjoyed cooking the most, specially if it was black beans or menudo. Ludivina was the peacemaker of the family and will be missed dearly by all. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gil Canales & Maria Estefania Resendez; and her loving husband, Jose Ortega. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her son, Jose Alberto Ortega; numerous grandchildren; her brothers, Jose Raul Canales, Mario Canales, Gil Canales; her sisters, Diana E. Barrera,  Olga Camacho, Angelica Razo; She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends.

Ludivina will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.

Cremation will take place on a later day.
