Luis Rey Galvan Martinez, 72, was born on August 25, 1945 in Encarnacion de Abajo, Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Juan Galvan N and Maria de la Luz Martinez Cerda and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 28, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Houston, Texas. Luis was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Guadalupe Galvan. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 52 years, Marcelina Galvan; his son, Ricardo Francisco Galvan; his daughters, Maria Luis Galvan Valle & husband Marcos Martin, Maria Angelica Galvan, Yolanda Pena & husband Hector Fabian Olga Lidia Galvan, Laura Patricia Galvan, and Maria de la Luz Martinez & husband Javier; his brothers, Arturo Galvan Martinez, Celedonio Galvan Martinez, Hesquio Galvan Martinez, and Israel Galvan Martinez; his grandchildren, Erick R. Galvan, Cristina Galvan, Jessica Galvan, Marcos Valle, Jr., Luis Valle, Mario Valle, Victoria Valle,m Thomas Valle, Angel Eduardo Galvan, Elizabeth Marie Galvan, Abigail Esperanza Galvan, Mario Oyervides, Patricia Ruiz, Ramon Ruiz, Jr., Amber Valenzuela, Crystal Galvan, Lisa Marie Martinez, Irene Martinez, Amalia Martinez, Javier Martinez, Lorenzo Martinez, Ramiro Martinez, and Alonzo Martinez; his great grandchildren, Arianna, Luis Ricardo, Andrea Guadalupe, Lorraine, and Lauren; also many other relatives and friends. Luis will be dearly missed by all those who shared with him in life.
